Check-in (green)
This enables the kid to check-in every now and then and let the parent know that everything’s ok. For example, children may be out with their friends, and with Nearparent they can easily show where they are and that everything is ok.

Small alert (yellow)
When help is needed, but the kid can wait a while for the help to arrive. Used in instances such as loss of bus ticket or home keys.

More urgent alert (red)
Your kid needs help quickly and wishes that the helpers would hurry. Used, for example, when the kid has fallen off a bike and needs quick assistance.

Please note that Nearparent is not an emergency service and should never be used as such. Parents should advise their kids to always contact emergency services, such as 911, in serious situations.
